September: This Month’s Game Releases
For me, games wise the month of August was a bit boring with only Batman: Arkham Asylum standing out as a really great game. What will this month bring?
The guys over at the office here treated me on a copy for my birthday and - suffice to say - I’m very happy with it. Next to ‘The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction’ I think this is what a true superhero game should be like: being able to make full use of all the available powers your superhero has, and then more.
When you take a quick look at some of the games that are going to be released this month you’ll notice that there are two rhythm simulation games scheduled for release; Guitar Hero 5 and The Beatles: Rock Band. Everybody in the office here seems to like these type of games, so I guess I know how our traditional Friday gaming middays are going to look like for the following months then!

Nice costumes…
While I like to pick up a guitar occasionally, I’m usually done gaming after a few songs. So if I had to choose a game from the list below I definitely went for Halo 3: ODST.
Judging from the zillions of screenshots floating around the internet the graphics look a bit better when compared to Halo 3, which seems logical actually. I’m also curious about the gameplay and the differences between playing a Spartan and an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper. From what I’ve read is that while the Troopers aren’t as powerful or large as the Spartans, they more than make up for their courage and intensity.

Looking forward to this one!
