Jimmy Lohman decided to come to Capitol City to become a journalist. But he didn't expect that even before he got there that he'd be one of Craig Gemini's hostages. Witnessing the bungled rescue by the Edge, one of the cities heroes, gives him a story. Unfortunately for Jimmy, jobs are scarce.

Pleading with Human Resources at Action News, Jimmy's there to witness reporter Grant Godfried's assistant quit. His begging awards him what many seem to regard as the least desiereable job in the company. What Jimmy doesn't know is that Grant Godfried is The Edge, and it's his job to assist him bot in, and out of costume.
