The Avengers and Cyberforce have joined forces to retrieve Ripclaw from the clutches of Norman Osborn and the Thunderbolts. But both teams are unaware that the alien symbiote that was bonded to Mac Gargan has begun acting on it's own, has devored Iron Man.

Cyberforce senses that Ripclaw has begun fighting the symbiote, and persuade the Avengers to see what's going on, leading to a head-on confrontation between both teams, and the Thunderbolts.
