Plot
Lt. James Higgins was part of a military unit that intercepts weapon convoys supplying insurgents in Afghanistan... until the insurgents wiped out his unit. Saved by an experimental treatment, he has been transformed into the Shield, a super-soldier in the employ of the US Government.
