When word of Superman and Batman's capture is announced, their closest allies execute a carefully orchestrated attack on the White House to learn the fate of their mentors. The only problem is, Lex doesn't actually have them. He begins to interrogate Nightwing, Robin and Huntress while Superboy and Supergirl are trapped in a compressed sphere, being exposed to green kryptonite radiation when Hawkman and Captain Marvel return.
