"24: Season 1" follows 24 hours in the life of government security officer Jack Bauer on the longest day of his life. The events take place in real time and follow Bauer and his family through the terrible events of the day of the California Presidential Primary. The political becomes personal when terrorists bent on assassinating a future presidential candidate kidnap Jack Bauer's wife and teenage daughter. Bauer must find a way to rescue his family, save the politician from assasination, and discover and capture the evildoers behind the plot, all the while trying to figure out who may be a mole within his very own government organization. He doesn't know who he can trust in the office, but he must make tough decisions to choose who to ask for help in getting his family back.
