Plot
Allosaurus: A Walking With Dinosaurs Special tells the story of an Allosaurus, Big Al, as he grows from a hatchling to a fierce carnivore. Life isn't easy for a young dinosaur, and before he is grown Big Al is often thought of as food for other dinosaurs. Once Big Al makes it to adulthood he must hunt to eat and find a mate. Even sleeping through the night poses many dangers. Scientists explore the fossil remains of the Allosaurus and explain how evidence in this specimen, along with current knowledge of dinosaur behavior led them to recreate Big Al's life.
