Angel (Jules Urich), better known as the B-Girl, is most active when she is dancing, but a cruel attack forces her to flee from her home in Brooklyn to Los Angeles. She is lonely in this new city and has no friends and no people other than her mother, Gabby (Missy Yager). Gabby is scared and apprehends that dancing will devastate Angel again. Angel is immobilized by fear but, at the same time, desperate without her dancing. The doctor also says that she may not perform dances anymore. Surprisingly she is not disheartened, and on regaining her health she slowly finds herself in the earlier desired position, proving her worth and determination.
