As Shing Lung (Jackie Chan) grows up in a small village with his grandfather Chen Peng-fei (James Tien). Lung rebels from an early age and does not want to train to be a kung fu master, like his grandfather. He gets into troule gambling, and eventually ends up fighting someone, which lets everyone see the fighting skills that his grandfather managed to teach him.
In an attempt to escape the world of fighting, Lung takes a job at a coffin shop owned by Shih Tien (Dean Shek). Tien is not an honorable man, and he often sells used coffins. He fires Lung when he traps him in one of his own coffins. Lung is then confronted by the same people he fought earlier, but they want only to ask him to fighting lessons. This leads him to a reputable job as a trainer by Master Ti (Lee Kwan). Lung gains fame, but this fame gains the attention of the evil kung fu fighter Yen Ting Hua (Yam Sai-kwoon), which puts Lung and everthing he cares about in danger. Edition Information
