One night while hosting her show, DJ Vantia ‘Stretch’ Brock (Caroline Williams) gets a call from two obnoxious teens traveling in their car. Shortly after, the sound of chainsaw and the teens’ screams of horror are heard. Next morning, the crashed car of those teens is surrounded by police, one of them is Lieutenant ‘Lefty’ Enright (Dennis Hopper). He believes a notorious cannibal family is behind these deaths and the death of his nephew, and vows to hunt them down. In the newspaper he posted an ad for people to contact him with information. Troubled by this incident, Stretch seeks out Lefty to show him the recordings of that phone call. Lefty devises a plans to lure these cannibals out by playing the tape on air. Not too soon afterwards a strange character shows up at the radio station to confront Stretch.
