The stated aim of the radical group known as The Weathermen, was to bring anarchy and chaos to the United States in an attempt to bring Vietnam home. This documentary examines the group, its members and actions, beginning in 1969 when they first proclaimed that they would overthrow the government due to their opposing the Vietnam War. The movement rose during a time when there was a high level of political unrest within the country and many such groups began to arise when more peaceful methods of protest seemed to lack effect. The Weathermen even worked hand in hand with another radical group, The Black Panthers, during their turbulent and often violent efforts to reach their stated goal. The film in a sense examines what it meant to confront and protest during those turbulent times.
