Creating a local backup

We always back up your data on our own servers, every day, but if you want you can generate your own backup, download it and save it on your own computer or thumbdrive.

Creating a local backup

1. Click the menu button top left and click “Backup / Restore”.
2. Click the blue “Create Backup File” button to generate your backup file.
   This can take a while depending on how many comics you have.
3. When finished, click the “Download Backup” button to download your backup file as a ZIP.

Keep it safe on your computer or a thumbdrive. The ZIP file you now have is exactly what you need should you ever want to restore a backup.

Restoring a backup

If you ever need to restore a backup you previously downloaded you can do so via the same screen:

1. Click the menu button top left and click “Backup / Restore”.
2. Click “Upload Backup” and choose a previously downloaded backup file to upload.
3. Once the upload has finished, click the blue “Restore Backup File” button to restore everything.

!Restoring a backup will replace your entire comic collection with your backup. This can not be undone.
