Prominent and successful Dallas, Texas lawyer Addison Terrill (C. Thomas Howell) returns from work one night to find that his beautiful and beloved wife Rebecca (Sean Young) has been brutally murdered. As no one else is currently a suspect, the police believe that Addison is the prime suspect in the murder. To clear his name, Addison must go to the mean city streets to search for the actual killer, who may be someone that Addison knows and helped put away. His time is running out to find the guilty, as the police are slowly closing in on charging him with the murder.
