Plot
Seven professors have spent years shut up in a house working on an encylopedia, in an endevor to catalog all human knowledge. When Professor Bertram Potts (Cooper) discovers his entry on slang is seriously outdated, he goes out into the wide world to learn about the evolving language. He meets Sugarpuss O'Shea (Stanwyck), a nightclub singer who's on top of all the slang-- and it just so happens, that she needs a place to stay.
