Plot
“Mean Season” is the story of Malcolm Anderson (Kurt Russell), a reporter in Miami who has simply had enough. All the death and crime has gotten to him. Malcolm promises his girlfriend, Christine Connelly (Mariel Hemingway) that they can move away from all this craziness once Malcolm has finished his piece about a series of rash murders in the local area. As Malcolm is about to up and quit and leave for good, he’s handed a note, the note is from the murderer who has now picked Malcolm as his voice to the public. Soon Malcolm realizes that he has been drawn into this page one story and he may be the next headline.
