Plot
After studying Anthropology towards his degree, and after leaving behind debts and open questions for the police, Jake(Jonno Roberts) found refuge in Thailand and its appealing nightlife. After adjustment to both the pub and the whore house, Jake invites his brother, Oliver(Tate Ellington), a somewhat introvert character, not to say suicidal, with his unsuccessful literary aspirations. Diana(Ellen Burstyn)the mother of the two takes advantage of the opportunity to return her lost son back home. In Thailand, Oliver reveals that while there is magic in the decadent life of his brother, certainly when this life is accompanied by a local chaperon. Yet the Orient offers other ways to make a living. The Elephant King is the psychological drama on the relationship of two brothers in the shadow of a slightly dominant mother, and how their lives changes due to the radical differences between them.
